also known as Manic Depression or Bipolar Affective Disorder. This type of Depression includes alternating times of depression, mania, and high mood swings.

Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) —
Seasonal Depression Linked with Daylight hours from northern and southern latitudes From late falls to early spring. Cyclothymic disorder - A disorder that causes emotional ups and downs higher than bipolar disorder.

Premenstrual dysphoric disorder —
mood changes that occur during the premenstrual phase of a woman's cycle and go away with menses.

Disruptive mood dysregulation disorder —
a severe disorder in children often causing frequent temper which is inconsistent with their age. Depression induced by substance use or medication A depression that occurs with the use of any medication.
